Redmi Note 3 MTK MIUI 8 Global Beta 7.3.9  Hello MIUI-ers, A good news for all Redmi Note 3 MTK users, including users with Goodix Fingerprint Sensor, my port from Official Global Beta 7.3.9 is out for download and you can find links and all the related information below, so grab it and reply to this thread with your feedback. Redmi Note 3 MTK MIUI 8 Global Beta 7.3.9 Changelog Lockscreen, Status Bar, Notification Bar Fix - Screen didn't light up whenever a message with a verification code was received (03-07) Home screen Fix - Issues with the positions of icons after restoring Home screen layout from Mi Cloud (03-07) Screen Recorder Fix - Screen didn't light up whenever a message with a verification code was received (03-07) Other Fix - Switching to Second space rebooted the device in some cases (03-09) Install via SP-Flash-Tool (Locked bootloader) Open folder SP-FLASH-TOOL-V.5.1532.00 Run flash_tool.exe as administrator Select download agent from "SP-FLASH-TOOL folder" (DA_SWSEC.bin) Select scatter file in "Images folder" (MT6795_Android_scatter.txt) UNCHECK PRELOADER!!! (OR YOU WILL GET A NICE BRICK!!!)BE SURE that only is checked this five files: "system" "tee1" "tee2" "userdata" "boot" (Don't check "userdata" if you are upgrading from previous beta ported version. Check "userdata" ONLY IF YOU WANT TO DO A CLEAN INSTALL! DO A FULL BACKUP OF YOUR INTERNAL STORAGE BEFORE IT!!!) Press download Turn off mobile phone Press vol- and conect to your pc with original cable When red bar apear, wait 5 secs and unpress vol- (see yellow bar in 9-12 secs) Wait to 100% (yellow bar) Disconect mobile phone of your pc Reboot, wait a moment and voila! IMPORTANT: ON FIRST INSTALL OR CLEAN INSTALL, TO GET GLOBAL LOCALES WORKING (NO RESET TO CHINA LOCALE AFTER REBOOT BUG) ON SP-FLASH-TOOL VERSION, YOU NEED TO FLASH USERDATA (KEEP IT CHECKED IN SP-FLASH-TOOL) AND THIS WILL WIPE YOUR INTERNAL STORAGE! DO A FULL BACKUP BEFORE INSTALL! Install via TWRP (Unlocked bootloader) HOW TO UNLOCK YOUR BOOTLOADER HOW TO INSTALL TWRP STEPS TO INSTALL (TWRP Version) First Install After unlock your bootloader and flash TWRP, like another custom ROM, copy Full ROM to Internal Storage, boot on TWRP, wipe System, Data and Caches, flash ROM, reboot, wait a moment and voila! Upgrade from previous beta ported version Copy Full ROM to Internal Storage, boot on TWRP, flash Full ROM without any wipes, reboot, wait a moment and voila!
